Jimmy got a return ticket on Eurostar when he went to Holland on Monday.
Supposed to be be back here "late on Thursday evening".

It's now Friday morning - and no sign of him. I have heard nothing from him since he left here on Monday. I texted him but my text did not deliver to his phone.
I'm starting to get a bit worried now.

Just had a text from him now. He's on the train about 30 minutes from Kings Cross.

Hi Auntie Cat,

Really sorry to make you worry. I thought Dad already sent you a text about it. That old phone seriously needs to RETIRE. It keeps malfunctioning with the text receiving or sending plus it dies only after a few hours of charging. Anyways, I'm sure he's back by now. By the way, he got a new phone while he was here. Please tell him to use it. When I told him that he only says "ah I'll make the new phone as my back up". Well that's just fuzzy logic right there. Please MAKE HIM use the new one.

Yeah, he's back - but I haven't seen him yet. He went straight to Kev's. They're going for a game of darts.
I just spoke to them on the phone. Read out your instructions about the old crock of a phone. Kevin had me on the loudspeaker. I could hear Jimmy laughing in the background.
Kevin reckons Jimmy's sentimentally attached to the old phone ... might be a bit of a job breaking that attachment.

......but the new one looks the same like the old one. Dad would give any excuse just to be difficult sometimes.

The new phone is now in operation - sim card transferred over!!!

lol - Jimmy is now discovering text messages from a year ago on there - January 2011 that he never got!
